Painted Prints Card Kit Release

May 23, 2018

The new MFT Card Kit, Painted Prints is available for purchase now!

(NOTE: The products written in boldface are included in the kit.)
To create my background, I die cut a striped panel from Smooth White card stock using the Striped Sentiment Strip Cover-Up Die-namics and stamped the "Miss You", which is from the Brushstroke Expressions stamp set, with Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink. After I drew a dashed-line frame with a gray Copic Multi Liner, I added a panel of Peach Bellini and adhered to the card base.

I stamped the flowers and leaves and cut them out with the matching dies. Ink colors used are listed below. I die cut the flower vase from Kraft card stock and stamped it with the Marble Background using Kraft Premium Dye Ink. The flower vase die is the new mid-month Free with $60 Die-namics! :)
After I put everything together, I added a tiny bow to the vase and several Ice Cube Jewels around the flowers to finish off the card.

Painted Prints Card Kit Countdown Day 2

May 22, 2018

Welcome to Day 2 of the MFT Painted Prints Card Kit Countdown. The new kit will be available for purchase tomorrow (May 22) at 9 PM EDT

(Note: The products written in boldface are included in the kit.)
I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Painted Prints stamp set randomly on a piece of Smooth White card stock to create my own patterned paper. The ink colors used are listed at the bottom of this blog post. My daughter said that it would be pretty if this pattern was on a dress for summer. I totally agree! :D
I cut the stamped panel with a scalloped rectangle die from the Blueprints 27, then cut out a  Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frame from it to make a camouflage frame. I also cut the frame three times from Blue Breeze card stock and layered them under the stamped frame.

I stamped a sentiment from the Brushstroke Expressions stamp set with Safety Orange Premium Dye Ink onto a panel cut with the Stitched Mini Scallop Oval STAX Die-namics. Then I inked around the sentiment with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I adhered the sentiment panel with foam tape and added several Clear Droplets to finish off the card.

My card for today is simple. I love these flowers that look like tulips because tulip is the symbol flower of my home prefecture. :)
I cut a panel of Smooth White card stock using the Stitched Mod Rectangle STAX Die-namics and stamped the flowers, stems, and leaves from the Painted Prints stamp set. The ink colors I used are listed at the bottom of this blog post.
After I stamped a sentiment from the Brushstroke Expressions stamp set, I adhered the panel to the card base adding a panel of gingham patterned paper. I added a hemp bow and several dots using Limoncello Jewel Drops for embellishments.

The Painted Prints card kit will be available for purchase on May 22 at 9 PM EDT.
