Retro Sketches #99

January 31, 2014

Today I am sharing an one-layer card that was based on the Retro Sketches #99.

I stamped a herringbone background (Impression Obsession) after I masked off the space. Then I stamped a cat image from Loads of Love set (Penny Black) and colored it with Copics. The sentiment is from Just A Love Note set (Simon Says), and it was curved slightly.

CASology #79

January 26, 2014

This weeks theme over at the CASology is "Contrast". I tend to choose soft or dull tones of color for my cards. So I thought it would be a good opportunity to try a color combo I usually don't use.

I don't think this photo show the real. :( The colors are more vivid in real life. My inspiration for this design also came from HERE.

Thank you for stopping by!

C4C219

January 21, 2014

Today I am sharing a card I made for this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges (C4C219), which is a sketch challenge.

I used Missing You set from Hero Arts. The patterned papers are from MME. To emboss the background panel, I used a Linear embossing folder from Lifestyle Crafts.

I am also entering this card to this weeks Simon Says Wednesday Challenge which theme is embossing.

Thank you for stopping by!

CTS #60

January 19, 2014

I'm sorry for being quiet for a long time! It has been too cold to be creative here in Japan, and I've been just lazy... :p

I played along with this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge.
I inked up Up and Away set (Mama Elephant) and paired this cutie with some MME paper. To make a cloud background, I used a Landscape Trio die (Mama Elephant).

Thank you for visiting!
