CSC75 & Etsy Inspired #5

January 30, 2012

Happy Monday everyone!
Today I'd like to share a card I made for CASE Study Challenge #75 (CSC75). I also used a couple of photos from Etsy for my inspiraton.
Here are the photos...

And my card is here!

Stamp: Fancy Phrases (Waltzingmouse Stamps)   Ink: Onyx Black (Versa Fine)
Paper: PTI, Bazzill, American Crafts   Tool: 3mm hole punch

I gathered scraps of cardstock and selected some rainbow colors to make those little houses. For tiny windows, I used a 3mm hole punch. Isn't it a good idea?;)

Thank you for stopping by today!

Etsy Inspired #4

January 28, 2012

Are you bored with me? Sorry, but I CAN'T stop creating cards inspired by Etsy!! LOL!

Here is today's photo.

Simply loved this color hue and the alphabet "B" reminded me of the word, "Birthday". So my card turned out like this...

Ink: Onyx Black (Versa Fine), Red Brick (Versa Magic)
Paper: PTI   Accessories: Natural Jute Twine (RCC), Rhinestone (Kaiser)
Tool: Corner RounderPunch

Oh, Jute Twine again! LOL!
I was so pleased with the result that I couldn't help making another one!:)

January 23, 2012

Hi everyone!
Do you remember this card I shared last week? I created another "Etsy inspired" card and I'd like to share it with you today.

And here is my card.

Stamp: Hero Arts   Ink: Versa Mark, White Embossing Powder
Paper: PTI   Accessories: Rhinestone (Kaiser)
Tool: Corner Rounder Punch

If I didn't add red blinkies, I would enter this card to this weeks CAS-ual Fridays Challenge(CFC36) --to make a CAS project using only black and white. But the spot of red was very important to me, so I couldn't help adding them.

Thank you for stopping by today. I'll be back tomorrow with a sample card for this month's TSG sneak peek!! See you tomorrow!

Etsy Inspired Card

January 19, 2012

Hi everyone!
A few days ago I stumbled on an inspirational photo at Etsy.

I loved this design, and I kew I had to make a card based on it.
Here is my card.

Ink: Onyx Black (Versa Fine)   Paper: PTI
Tools: Corner Rounder Punch
Isn't it cool??;)
I have saved a few more inspirational photos from Etsy, so you'll see some cards inspired by them in the future!

Thank you for stopping by!

TSG 139 : Back To Nature

January 16, 2012

Happy Monday everyone!
This weeks challenge at the TSG blog (TSG 139) is to make a card/project with a scene of Back to Nature. Use anything you like as long as it involves a character and nature!

I grabbed Zoo-pendous set again and created a CAS card.

Stamp: Zoo-pendous (TSG)   Color: Copic Markers
Ink: Espresso (Versa Magic), Jumbo Java, Red Brick (Versa Magic)
Paper: PTI, MME
Accessories: Wood button (stash), Natural Jute Twine (Ribbon Carousel com.)

To create some wavy lines, I stamped the image repeatedly on to a scrap of dp, and then cut them off with scissors. The sentiment was curved to get a fun focal point on a white space. A wooden button and some Jute twine added a bit of natural touch to the card.:)

For the challenge details, please visit the TSG blog. I hope you'll have a time to play along with us this week!

Thank you for visiting!

TSG 138 : Paper Piecing

January 9, 2012

Happy Monday!
It's time for another TSG challenge (TSG 138)! ;) This week our challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week- Jackie! She has challenged us to make a card or project using the Paper Piecing Technique.
I usually prefer coloring with Copic Markers, but I do love the Paper Piecing too! Sometimes it is a bit difficult to cut out piecing parts perfectly... but luckily, I'm a kind of compulsive person! So, the more difficult it is, the better for me! (... really?? LOL!)

Stamp: Zoo-pendous (TSG)  Ink: Espresso (Versa Craft), Jumbo Java (Versa Magic)
Color: Copic Markers   Paper: PTI, MME
Tools: Eyelet Lace Border Die (PTI), Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Circle Cutter

Please visit the TSG blog for the details of the challenge. I hope you play along with us this week!

Thank you for stopping by!:)

TSG137 : A New Year, A New Start

January 5, 2012

Happy New Year everyone! ...I'm late? LOL!
It had been busy days for me this past a week, and I couldn't even touch my ink bads at all. But New Year's holiday is over and my life is getting back to normal at last.:)
I finally got time for crafting last night and created a card for this week's TSG Challenge (TSG137). This week's challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week, Debby Hughes. Debby is challenging us to create a card "A New Year, A New Start". In other words, create a card depicting your new year resolutions.

When I saw this theme, I immediately thought of the words that is included in the Good Times set, "Don't watch the clock; do what it does. Keep Going." As you may know, I always say "I'm busy, I'm busy, I'm busy!!!" and sometimes I get into a panic. LOL!  The only thing I can do when I'm in panic is "Keep Going". It is not easy but very very important!:)

Stamp: Good Times (TSG)   Ink: Jumbo Java (Versa Magic)
Color: Copics   Paper: Bazzill, MME
Accessories: Ribbon (PTI), Twine (RCC)   Tools: Tag Die (PTI)

Head over to the TSG blog for the challenge details!;)
Thank you for stopping by today. See you soon!
