Santa Girl With A White Dress

November 29, 2011

Hi everyone!
Today I'd like to share a quick Christmas card using my digi, Santa Girl.

Ink: Hint Of Pesto, Red Brick (Versa Magic)   Color: Copic Markers
Paper: PTI, Baic Grey (Jovial)   Accessories: Rhinestone (Kaiser)

On this card, I wanted to make a beautiful poinsettia stand out. So I kept the layout simple and colored the girl's dress with a touch of cream (E41). I'm so happy with the end result!:)

Thank you for stopping by. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

TSG Blog Hop Challenge : Warmest Wishes

November 24, 2011

Hi everyone!
It's the final day of TSG sneak peeks for this month. Today we are showing one more stamp set for this holiday season.

I had been wanting to have an applique stamp set for years, so I was so excited when Jessica allowed me to make this set!:D This set will keep you in stitches or get you in the mood to make gingerbread houses and sugar cookies. The set includes hearts, stars, and snowflakes to create a one of a kind snowman or holiday tree. This set also includes six dies – so warm up your die cutting machine and let the baking begin. What set wouldn’t be complete without a few sentiments to add to your winter projects?

Warmest Wishes is a 4x4 set that includes a total of 23 stamps and six dies and will sell for $31.50.

Stamp: Warmest Wishes, In Stitches (TSG)
Ink: Tea Leaves, Red Brick (Versa Magic)   Color: Copic Markers
Paper: PTI, EP (Season's Greetings)   Accessories: Rhinestone (MME)

For this card, I decorated the snowman and the trees with tiny rhinestones. But you can use several kinds of button images that are included in this set for decorating them. I think that some of Trendsetters are showing you great way to use the buttons.;)

Would you like to win the new Warmest Wishes stamp sets?

TSG Blog Hop Challenge Day 2 : Holly Jolly

November 23, 2011

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of this month's TSG Blog Hop Challenges!
The stamp set we are showing today is called Holly Jolly, which was illustrated by Melyssa Connolly!

No two snowflakes are alike…each with a beauty of their own and Melyssa Connolly has captured the beauty of snowflakes in this new Holly Jolly set that are sure to make you wish it were snowing. This amazing set also includes a die! It’s a fabulous versatile set that will surely bring a holiday glisten to your projects – all you need to add is the glitter!

Holly Jolly is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 35 stamps and one die and will sell for $31.50.

Stamp: Holly Jolly (TSG)   Color: Copic markers
Paper: PTI, MME (12 Days of Christmas)
Accessories: Ribbon (PTI), Requid Pearl (Kuretake)
Tools: Circle & Labels 18 Nestabilities (Spellbinders)

For may card, I used not a snowflake but a wreath image from the set. Unfortunately my die is still enjoying her (?) flight to Japan, so I cut the image out with my scissors. But it is certain that you can cut this wreath image with a die that is included in Holly Jolly set.:)

TSG131 Quick and Easy!

November 21, 2011

Happy Monday everyone!
It's time for another TSG challenge!! This week we challenge you to create a set of 5 quick and easy Christmas cards. It's a great theme at this season, isn't it?
Here are my cards for this challenge.

Ink: Espresso (Versa Craft), Gingerbread (Versa Magic)
Color: Copic Markers  Paper: PTI, Echo Park (Season's Greetings)
Accessories: Rhinestone (Kaiser), Red & white twine
Tools: Small Scalopped Border Die (PTI), Corner Rounder Punch (Karla Craft)

* Stamp the image 5 times, color them and cut them out.
* Cut white card stocks into 3-7/8 inch square and stamp the sentiment.
* Adhere a slip of die cut PP onto a white panel and add some twine.
* Adhere a white panel onto a red card base (4-1/4 inch square).
* Put the Santa image on using some dimensional tape.
* Add a few tiny rhinestones to finish the card off.

I completed these five cards within an hour. Definitely quick and easy, ha?
Please visit the TSG blog to find the details of the challenge. I hope you have time for playing with us this week.

And also, this month's TSG sneak peeks start tomorrow. So keep your eyes on the TSG blog!!
Thank you for stopping. See you tomorrow!!;)

I Love You Snow Much!

November 18, 2011

Hi everyone!
This week at the TSG blog is a TSG (Again!) week, and the stamp sets we are featuring this month are Stick Together, Birdie Wishes and Penguin Love. Today, Senior Trendsetters are showing you a new card/project using one of these stamp sets.
I used Penguin Love set for my card.

Stamp: Penguin Love (TSG)   Ink: Onyx Black (Versa Fine), Cyan (Artnic)
Color: Copic Markers   Paper: Bazzill, PTI, MME (Lime & Twist)
Accessories: Button (PTI), Twine
Tools: Sewing Machine, Medium Scalloped Border Die (PTI)

I usually don't like adding many buttons to my card because it makes a card thick and heavy. But when this idea for the layout popped in to my head, I couldn't resist it!:)

Jessica added new Tip & Tricks sheets for Birdie Wishes set and Penguin Love set. If you have not checked them out yet, make sure to stop by HERE to know how versatile these stamp sets are!

Thank you for visiting here today. Have a wonderful weekend!!

Have Your Cake!

November 2, 2011

Hi everyone!
My daughter, Honoka is turning 11 this Friday. So I decided to make a birthday card for her with a newly released TSG stamp set, Bon Appetit.

Stamp: Bon Appetit, Make A Wish (TSG)
Ink: Espresso (Versa Craft), Tea Leaves, Gingerbread (Versa Magic)   Color: Copics
Paper: PTI, Bazzill,  MME (Lime Twist - Life Of The Party)
Accessories: Bakers Twine   Tools: Circle Cutter

As I used some bakers twine, I'm entering this card to this week's Ribbon Carousel Challenge (RCC27) which is "Anything Goes"!

We are going to have a birthday party tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to baking a BD cake with Honoka!:):)

Thank you so much for visiting here today!
